Their garage is filled with all sorts of toys, including beach chairs, snorkelling equipment, coolers, grills, bug spray, charcoal, sunscreen. Throw a couple chairs in your rental car and be sure to take some emergency beach breaks.
We spent a 10-day honeymoon on Kauai, and Mike and Alexis of Marjorie's run a wonderful operation. We stayed in two of their three rooms, and you can know that with only six guests you'll get plenty of attention. Breakfast is great, we spent nearly two hours a morning just sitting on the lanai, watching rainbows come and go.
I highly recommend this bed and breakfast if you are planning to visit Kauai. The rooms are very nice, all with amazing views, and the food is fantastic. Fresh fruits, granola, and yogurt are offered every morning, in addition to a delicious hot entree. During our 4 day stay we had Hawaiian sweet bread french toast, eggs to order, whole grain waffles, and eggs benedict, all of which were mouth watering. The hosts were very courteous and friendly, and had some amazing beach and restaurant suggestions! Definitely check them out.
We stayed here for the first leg of our honeymoon and couldn't have been happier. The room was great with an amazing view of the valley. We weren't in the room a lot during this portion of our vacation but Marjorie's was in a great location to get to all of our outdoor excursions. We would absolutely recommend this place and stay here again if we make it back to Kauai.
